Free tool to help Queensland small businesses assess and manage their climate change risk

15 November 2023

Climate change and extreme events affect all Australians. There is clear recognition that small businesses do not have sufficient staff, resources and time to take a proactive approach in considering climate change, yet many are already exposed to extreme events.

With this in mind, the Queensland Department of Environment and Science has developed a free, interactive Climate Change Risk Management Tool for Small Businesses in Queensland

The tool (a fillable PDF) contains information on climate change (what, where and how much), is simple and quick to use, and also provides links to other resources that can be accessed and used as required.

Take the first step to assess your risk from extreme events and a changing climate, and then you'll be in a better position to update your business continuity plans or develop them from scratch.
